Hippo Titan Soldier Deep Warp Gunner C2E2 2015 Exclusive from Galaxxor x ManOrMonster? Studios

 

It's been a while since Galaxxor and ManOrMonster? Studios have released a version of their collaborative Hippo Titan Soldier project, and they figured that C2E2 would be the perfect place to drop a new one. The Hippo Titan Soldier Deep Warp Gunner features all new shoulders sculpted by ManOrMonster Studios and a pretty sweet (if I do say so, myself) purple, black and neon green colorway.

The Hippo Titan Soldier was designed and sculpted by Ben Spencer and ManOrMonster? Studios and engineered and produced in resin by ManOrMonster? Studios. He was hand painted by Ben Spencer. The  Hippo Titan Soldier features 3 points of magnetic articulation and a magnetic blunderbuss accessory.

Limited to an edition of 5, Hippo titan Soldier Deep Warp Gunner will be $75 each and will exclusively be available at Nerd City's booth #760 at C2E2.

Omega Matrix Power General Gorgax C2E2 2015 Exclusive from Galaxxor

 Galaxxor's arch nemesis, General Gorgax has tapped into the power of the Omega Matrix, and the Galaxxorverse will never be the same!  And you'll have your chance to get your hands on this extremely limited version of Gorgax at this year's C2E2.

General Gorgax was designed and sculpted by Ben Spencer and engineered and produced in translucent neon pink resin by The Godbeast and True Cast Studio. He was hand painted by Ben Spencer and he also includes a mirror chrome face plate. Gorgax sports 3 points of articulation.

It just wouldn't be a Nerd City C2E2 without some Galaxxor exclusives!  Marty "The Godbeast" Hansen and I decided to make Galaxxor at the very first C2E2 and many of my past C2E2 exclusives have been some of the most highly sought after Galaxxor offerings.

Cyborg Space Barbarian Kromulus C2E2 2015 Exclusive from Galaxxor x Zoloworld

That time of the year is fast upon us again, when some of Nerd City's best pals and favorite artists get together and create super limited edition collectibles, in the form of art, comics and toys. That time to which I'm referring, of course, is C2E2. Nerd City will be back in The Block, bigger and better than ever, with a great lineup of special guests and awesome exclusives. Although the Nerd City site is always a great place to get all of the latest Nerd city-related news, I wanted to start up this little mini blog as a one-stop point of reference for all of the exclusives at our booth this year. And, I'm set to kick the announcements off with one of my own offerings-

As General Gorgax's elite goons, the Cyborg Space Barbarians are an essential part of the Galaxxorverse. I love the way that the original helmet I sculpted came out, and I really enjoy making more barbarian-style characters, but as the core Galaxxor brand continues to evolve, I really wanted to move away from them simply being new heads on old MOTU bodies. My buddy Mike, from Zoloworld, and I have been chatting about doing some sort of collaborative work for a while, now. So, it only made sense to look to his awesome Realm of the Underworld line of vintage-style action figures as a possible base upon which to re-launch the Cyborg Space Barbarian concept.Originally conceived as a two-off project for Mike and I to see how the Cyborg Space Barbarian helmet looked with the Zoloworld barbarian buck, Kromulus got a great deal of positive feedback from the pictures that I posted online. So, I decided to do an extremely limited number of these guys as one of my exclusives for C2E2 this year.

Cyborg Space Barbarian Kromulus is a 5.5" art figure that features a head sculpted by Ben Spencer, which was then cast in resin by Marty "The Godbeast" Hansen and True Cast Studio. The figure features a custom painted Zoloworld body, which sports 5 points of articulation. Kromulus comes with an Omega Matrix Orbs necklace accessory. This figure is limited to an edition of 3 and they will be $75 each from The Nerd City booth in The Block at C2E2 (April 24-26 in Chicago, IL).
